DJ Patisol

Pati Sol nasceu e cresceu na zona leste de São Paulo e hoje vive no Porto. Os seus sets misturam sons brasileiros, como funk, pagodão, R&B e rap, com ritmos da diáspora africana, passando pelo afro beat, amapiano, kuduro, batida e gqom, além das influências latinas puxadas pelo reggaeton, salsa e dancehall. Seu set é uma amálgama de ancestralidade, resistência e celebração. 

Produtora Cultural e cofundadora das festas Malaghetto, Baile Doce e Revoada, PatiSol tem no seu currículo apresentações em Portugal, Espanha, França, Suiça e Brasil. Referência feminina preta, a dj acredita que sua música é mais do que dança: é história, identidade e ancestralidade.

Pati Sol was born and raised in the eastern part of São Paulo and now lives in Porto. Her sets mix Brazilian sounds, such as funk, pagodão, R&B and rap, with rhythms from the African diaspora, including Afrobeat, Amapiano, Kuduro, Batida and Gqom, as well as Latin influences from Reggaeton, Salsa and Dancehall. Her set is an amalgam of ancestry, resistance and celebration.

Cultural producer and co-founder of the Malaghetto, Baile Doce and Revoada parties, PatiSol has performed in Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland and Brazil. A black female role model, the DJ believes that her music is more than just dance: it is history, identity and ancestry.
